I print websites like a fucking boomer
I absolutely hate reading on a screen. Anything longer than a 5 minute blog post I just can't. I think my brain is so fucked, that the potential of another browser tab in the background completely blocks my ability to focus. I can't do it with PDF documents either. I just don't take my laptop or my phone as serious reading devices and I don't think it's worth the effort of trying to change that, to be honest.
Recently I realised I can just print shit. I was surprised to learn that in the year of our Lord Jesus HP Christ 2026 you can still buy a printer. I got a cheap, black and white Brother that seemed okay and never looked back.
I'm not super happy about the environmental impact of my decision, but I'm somewhat okay with it since the vast majority of people my age and under are definetely not doing this. I'm also offsetting the cost of toner and paper by saving my neighbours car trips into the city to print stuff. I've already saved 2 different people a 1 hour car journey.
